Getting Started with Ariel

This guide walks you through setting up your first campaign from scratch.

Step 1: Configure Your Settings

Before creating a campaign, fill in your business settings at Settings:

  • Business name — used to personalize your agent’s script
  • Website URL — used by the Script Builder to auto-generate context
  • Default tone and industry — sets defaults for new campaigns

Step 2: Create a Call Agent

Go to Call Agents and click New Agent.

Configure:

  • Name — internal label (e.g. “Lead Qualifier v1”)
  • Voice — choose from ElevenLabs voices
  • Language — the language your agent speaks
  • Script / Prompt — what your agent says and how it handles conversations
  • Tone, Industry, Goal — helps analytics categorize performance

Use the Script Builder to generate a script from your website and business description.

Step 3: Import Contacts

Go to Contacts and click Import CSV.

Your CSV must have at minimum:

  • name — contact’s full name
  • phone — E.164 format (e.g. +1234567890)

Optional: email, company.

Step 4: Get a Phone Number

Go to Phone Numbers, search by country and area code, then purchase a number. This will appear as the caller ID for your campaigns.

Step 5: Create a Campaign

Go to Campaigns and click New Campaign:

  • Call Agent — select your agent
  • Phone Number — select your Twilio number
  • Call window — hours during which calls are allowed (e.g. 9:00–17:00)
  • Call days — which days of the week to call

Add contacts from your contacts list.

Step 6: Activate

Set the campaign to Active. Ariel’s scheduler will start dialing contacts within your configured window.

Monitor results from the campaign detail page and the Dashboard.
